What if I've never been to therapy before?

Don't worry.  I can guide you through the process. First, we meet for a free half hour consultation to discuss your treatment goals and see if we are a good therapeutic match.  Next, if we decide to work together, we begin the assessment phase of treatment.  Here, we explore your background and the thoughts, feelings, behaviors and dynamics behind your problems. With a better understanding of what's going on, we develop a treatment plan and the action steps needed to achieve your unique goals. From there, I help you create and implement strategies and we problem solve around any difficulties that come up.  We will talk about how you are feeling about the process throughout treatment so that we can make adjustments.

Do you accept insurance?

I am not in-network with any insurance providers. I can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your provider for reimbursement depending on your out-of-network mental health benefits.  To find out if you are able to get reimbursement for my services, call the member services phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask if your mental health benefits include out of network providers, what the deductible is, and what the process is to submit my receipts for reimbursement.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 24 hours notice for cancellations.  If a session is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for paying the full fee for the session unless we are able to reschedule within the same calendar week.

How can I provide you with feedback on my treatment?

Feedback is encouraged and is important to the therapeutic process.  I want you to let me know if you have questions, concerns, criticisms, complements or any other feedback as soon as it comes up.  You can bring it up in session or send me an email.

What are your fees and how can I pay?

Individual Therapy: $185 per 55 minute session

Relational Therapy (more than one person): $250 per 55 minute session

Payment can be made via Venmo or Zelle.
